Legal linguistics challenges: legal language adaptation in the framework of the Russian Federation language policy

The article studies the problem of comprehensibility modern legal language Russian Federation from point view an ordinary citizen. authors define a concept law linguistic level and summarize existing theories concerning adaptation. Two technical methods addressing to federal executive bodies are discussed compared. It is highlighted that imperfection texts within aspect directly related uncertainty vague designation legislative bodies, duality definitions used excessive complexity syntactic structures.
